ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work hands on with your crew to strip, set up and pour the bed in a timely mannerCommunicate with Supervisors to ensure production in on scheduleWork with the Quality Control Department for optimal qualityTrack the inventory of items that are being used by their crewManage and assign tasks for the crew they are overseeingPerform general laborer work and ensure the job is being set up properlySupport company safety policies while maintaining a safe work environment and addressing safety concerns as neededMaintain a professional relationship and a positive attitude with employees in the plant and officeRead pour tickets to organize, and coordinate, while verifying that the tickets are accurateLead your crew in performing plant cleanup/housekeeping expectations set by managementActively looks for new ways to improve our processes, reduce errors and increase efficienciesHelp manage the day-to-day planning, operation and problem solving of productionExceeding and meeting departmental objectivesCreate a sense of ownership within the employees and resolve issues, if anyCommunicating the company's purpose, core values, vision to the front employeesAdditional duties as assigned
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years Precast Concrete experience preferredMust have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managersAbility to train and coach other employees if necessaryMust be able to solve problems quickly and efficientlyGeneral math skills and ability to read tape measureAbility to work with others to get the project completed efficiently and work independently when neededMust be motivated and self-driven to complete a taskKnowledge of products the company uses, and which products would work bestUnderstand and accept changes that are implemented to become Best in ClassMust be able to lead a team with respect and dignity
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs., occasionallyPhysically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequentlyAbility to move around for up to 12 hours per dayAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently
