Position Summary

The Program Manager for MWFCC builds positive physician relationships; effectively communicates with staff, leaders, physicians on a consistent basis; anticipates the future needs of the program and engages senior leaders in proactive action planning to meet those needs; partners with providers on program management optimization including billing, compliance and performance improvement; drives strategic outreach service delivery and standardization; develops and implements innovative strategies to meet key goals and create high value; ensures safe and positive patient experiences; supports and develops leaders; champions change initiatives; actively collaborates with other members of the fetal program team, system clinic leaders; and aligns departmental cultures with organization's mission, and values.

The Program Manager will initially work closely with medical and administrative leadership to cohesively advance Children's fetal program. The role oversees day to day operations to ensure a smooth transformation, participate in various planning and operations activities; form and sustain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and document and report on the program's milestones and accomplishments. The Program Manager supports the business and administrative operations and decisions of the fetal programs, enabling clinicians to focus on clinical practice, care model, quality, and research services. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations for the Mother Baby Clinical Service Line, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Medical Director of Fetal Program. Approximately, 4-9 indirect reports, including RN Care Coordinators, and Perinatal Social Workers.

Licensure:
* BSN; Active MN RN license required.

Education:
* Bachelors in business, health care, or related field required.
* MSN or BSN with MHA, MBA or other healthcare related masters preferred. Background in Perinatology, Surgery, or Women's Health preferred.

Required/Preferred Experience:
* Three years progressive management/leadership experience in the 24/7 clinical arena.
* Three years supervisory experience of staff in a health care setting. Utilization of HR, scheduling, and payroll applications (e.g., Kronos, PeopleSoft).
* Minimum of five years budget management and oversight.
* Minimum of five years operations management experience with a clinical practice (or related), in a clinical environment (preferred).
* Minimum of three years data management and presentation to support the monitoring of clinical and operational trends and quality.
* Prefer two years experience in operational oversight of research program.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving ability.
* Demonstrated strength in organizational and prioritization skills.
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, across a wide variety of audiences (clinical, executive, staff, external, etc).
* Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and influence others, while working in a highly matrixed environment.
* Demonstrated skills in developing effective work processes and leading performance improvement efforts to increase efficiency and value.
* Working understanding / familiarity with healthcare billing, compliance, legal/contracting
* Demonstrated business acumen: articulates practices and data which support sound decision making and resource management.
* Resourceful: recognizes problems and identifies potential solutions by tapping into available resources, staff, and best practices.
* Creates trusting relationships and builds community.
* Efficient in managing work and setting priorities for self and guiding team members.

When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
