ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float.Operate power vibrator to consolidate concrete.Use hand and/or power tools for finishing concrete, including hand trowel and power trowel.Understand/read blueprints to properly set up forms.Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including keeping tools and equipment clean.Follow 5S procedures to ensure quality specifications.Follow safety procedures and safe work practices.Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure optimal quality.Take direction from their Team Leader and SupervisorFlexible to perform work in any area including Architectural, Spancrete, Yard, Finish Building, and other areas as needed.Come to work with a good attitude and work the hours needed to fulfill the job requirements.Knowledge of the day-to-day tasks that are performed and are aware of what the next step is without being told.Maintain a professional relationship with employees in the plant and office.Support the company policies and have a positive attitude while working.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GEDConcrete finishing experience in the above stated areas preferred.Ability to judge concrete curing and leveling.General math skills and ability to read tape measure and blueprint.Demonstrated history of accepting responsibility for product finish and product quality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally. Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
