GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide general labor tasks, in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a precast installation crew. Work with wood, metal, and concrete materials using a variety of hand and power tools, the Field Laborer reports directly to the Field Foreman and Field Superintendent. Employee will also Operate lifts and learn to weld, grout and patch.
Salary range ($37.71-$46.39), union scale. Based on experience.

Take work direction from installation crew Foreman and Field SuperintendentCompletes general construction labor tasks necessary to install precast membersUses materials and supplies in an efficient mannerOperates equipment in a safe and responsible manner, specifically concrete sawsCleaning and preparing Footings for layoutMust learn how to grout and weldHandle rigging from the crane to hook to the precast membersFollows company safety procedures and policies
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED2+ Years of Construction or manual labor experience preferredOSHA 10 Hour certification General math skills and ability to read tape measure and blueprintGeneral knowledge of construction practicesAbility to work from heights (ladders, flatbed trailers, aerial equipment) safelyAbility to obtain membership to local laborers unionAbility to work with others and always maintain professional conductMust be motivated and self-driven to complete a taskMust be willing to travel and work in all types of weather conditions. Ability to travel and be away from home
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionallyPhysically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequentlyAbility to move around for up to 12 hours per dayAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequentlyPossession of valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
