GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Travel Lift Operator must safely operate this equipment to ensure that all employees working around this equipment are not exposed to preventable accidents. This Operator must conduct daily visual inspections to make sure this equipment is in good working condition. When not needed to operate this equipment, this individual will work on the crew with other employees.

Starting wage is $29.64/hr. Based on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be knowledgeable in the safe operations of this equipment.Conduct daily visual inspection of this equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.Understand rigging procedures and be knowledgeable in rigging equipment capacities.Climbing up and down from this equipment and from form surfaces.Working with hand tools such as cut off saws, grinders, drills, etc.Knowledge/experience working with gas/acetylene torch.Be authorized to operate company forklifts.Overhead crane-way experience.Acts in professional manner that demonstrates the individual has good character and can be trusted by all employees.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
-High School Diploma or GED.Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.Be an authorized forklift operator or be capable of learning the skills of operating a forklift.Be experienced in operating overhead crane-ways.Must be able to lead a team with respect and dignity.Ability to work with others to get the project completed efficiently.Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally. Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently. Possession of valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
