The Batch Plant Operator can operate all batching equipment at the production facility.
Hourly rate is $30.14

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Production and Quality Control departments to ensure accurate batching and record keepingOperate forklift, trucks, front end loader, crane-ways as well as batching equipment to mix concreteWork with Maintenance department in doing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenanceOrder materials needed for the Batch PlantWork with outside vendors in scheduling delivery of aggregates, dyes, and admixturesBe accountable for recording and carrying out accurately all safety procedures and policiesAbility to continuously improve the batching processBe able to take the initiative to continuously push the batch plant to produce the highest level possible and troubleshoot when issues ariseBatch concrete when needed for each jobAbility to use math to calculate mix designs, aggregate totals, and other possible calculations neededClean mixer area dailyClean and inspect strand vices
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GEDMust have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managersGeneral math skills and ability to read a tape measureMust be able to solve problems quickly and efficientlyMust be motivated and self-driven to complete a taskAbility to work with others to get the project completed efficientlyKnowledge of products the company uses, and which products would work bestUnderstand and accepts changes that are implemented to become best in ClassMust have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managersBe an authorized forklift operator or be capable of learning the skills of operating a forkliftBe experienced in operating overhead crane-waysMust be able to lead a team with respect and dignityAbility to work with others to get the project completed efficientlyMust be motivated and self-driven to complete a task
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionallyPhysically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequentlyAbility to move around for up to 12 hours per dayAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequentlyPossess a valid driver's license, and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle
