Core Technical Responsibilities: Programming systems software and applications, databases and web-based applications Write, translate and code software programs and applications according to specifications and client needs Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of applications or web applications Assist in the development and deployment of new programs and databases and enhancements to existing applications Develop automated database applications Install and configure relevant components to ensure database access Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document Web applications using appropriate editors Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections Code, test, debug and install applications systems and programs Conduct unit testing on programs and applications developed Participate in testing and documenting of new application systems, programs, software and databases Education: B.S. in Information Systems Experience:1-5 years experience with Maximo and/or other development environments Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Written communication skills for writing reports, proposals, lesson plans and workshop materials and corresponding with clients Verbal communication skills for interviewing, conflict resolution, standup presentations and persuasion Work in a business environment where the primary goal is responding to client needs Organize ideas, facts and skills Plan and develop goals Understand and apply knowledge of group dynamics and effective team building skills Listen for meaning and use effective communication skills to verify understanding and agreement Employment type: Full Time   Other Information   Job Location: Orlando - FL - Other State Zip Code: 32827 Post Date: 2012-05-15   Contact Information   Company: EMA, Inc.
