DiversityMinnesota.com helps federal contractor companies become OFCCP compliant

In 2006 the US Department of Labor Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs (OFCCP) issued guidelines on how companies working as federal contractors should be in compliance with EEOC regulation when job seekers respond to employment opportunities and when companies review resumes using Internet external resume databases. Many Minnesota employers access DiversityMinnesota.com resume database. The new guidelines require that employers maintain a log of resumes they’ve viewed on career advertising Web sites.
DiversityMinnesota.com has developed a system to help federal contractors meet the logging requirement of the OFCCP. Effective immediately, all resumes viewed by employers on DiversityMinnesota.com will be logged. The log will be viewable and savable at any time by simply logging in and viewing the log. Entries are made instantaneously so employers have immediate access to the log.
The log contains the date the resumes were viewed as well as links to the resumes, resume poster contact information, what the employer used as search terms and how the job seeker described her/his skill set as well as the IP address and Internet name of the resume viewer.
This new OFCCP compliance log is a handy tool for all employers using DiversityMinnesota.com, not just employers that are federal contractors. Used in combination with our unique resume tracker service, employers can keep detailed information on who they’ve contacted making DiversityMinnesota.com an even more efficient system for sourcing Minnesota candidates.
A slide show is available on this topic here. A faq from the OFCCP is available here.
