At a Glance:
Position: Heat Treat Operator Pay: Competitive wages. $27.85-$31.67/ hour (this wage does not include the shift differential of an additional $1.00/hour worked for 2nd shift and an additional $1.50/hour worked for 3rd shift). Schedule: Monday-Friday (1st shift 6a.m-2:30p.m., 2nd shift 2p.m.-10:30p.m, and 3rd shift 10p.m.- 6:30a.m.) Benefits: ESOP, healthcare, profit-sharing, paid time off, and more (see below for details).
About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Heat Treat Operator to join our Heat Treat Department. This role involves setting up and operating salt bath hardening furnaces and draw furnaces, as well as performing drill straightening, stacking, and panning tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be physically capable of meeting job demands, and be willing to assist in training teammates.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate salt bath hardening and draw furnaces according to production standards. Straighten, stack, and pan drills to support production flow. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation. Complete production paperwork and quality documentation accurately. Assist in training and mentoring other team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

• Skills:
Ability to read and interpret basic production instructions. Effective communication skills. Ability to use basic measuring tools (e.g., rulers, micrometers) preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and handling tools/materials.
• Other:
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Willingness to train and contribute to a team-focused environment.
